The National Museum has a new spring in its step after the renovation on the top floor, and this cafe has created one more reason to linger just that little bit longer. The Slodki Wentzl team are renowned for rustling up some of the finest cakes and ice-creams in town, and on our last visit, the coffee was on a similarly superb level. The walls are decorated with reprints of turn-of-the-century posters from the museum's collection, including a dotty invitation to a 'Confectioners Ball' in a nearby palace. Find it on the ground floor of the main museum block.
