Dragonflys are always popping into the dreamy paintings of Jozef Mehoffer, the grand old painter who used to live in this house. The artist's magical home is now a first-class museum that offers a wonderful window onto the world of 'Mloda Polska' (Polish Art Nouveau). It's one of Cracow's oft-missed treasures. Having sauntered around the garden (which has been brought back to its pre-war style) why not settle down for a cup of tea and a cake? After all, this is Cracow, and somehow it wouldn't be quite right not to. Mehoffer himself would be sure to agree.... |
