The chestnut tree became a symbol of Cracow's art nouveau eruption, so the name 'Under the Chestnut' couldn't be more appropriate here. This delightful little corner can be found in the Szolajski Mansion, a beautifully renovated museum in honour of the King of Polish art nouveau - Stanislaw Wyspianski. In Summer you can sit outside under the chestnut tree and dash off some postcards over a cappucino. Look out for one-off exhibitions on the ground floor - previous shows have included Alfons Mucha and Veit Stoss.
