The Spaniards were late in arriving but when they did finally show up it was in style. The Cervantes Institute set up shop here in 2004 in a magnificent mansion at the foot of the Royal Castle. Their Polish and Spanish staff are bursting with bright ideas about bringing the culture of the Don to Cracow. Besides an excellent range of language courses the Institute will also be organizing exhibitions, concerts and much more. The only thing that's lacking now in Cracow is a good Spanish restaurant. Any volunteers amigos?
