The foundation of the Centre for Jewish Culture was certainly a noble enterprise. However, in spite of some interesting events from time to time, the place does feel a bit lifeless. Competition from newer, livelier foundations may yet provide the much needed incentive to freshen things up, so this is by no means the end of the story. There are some excellent one-offs here, particularly if you're in Cracow during Autumn, when there are a string of interesting events to chime in with the Jewish New Year. There is also an open air cafe on the top floor, and an excellent collectibles shop in the basement.
