A magnet for culture vultures, this stunning location has been the meeting place since the 16th century for the eminent minds of the times: diplomats, poets and thinkers. Since 1975 the Bialy Pradnik Culture Centre has more formally become a focus for cultural and artistic activity, hosting everything from Fairytale Sundays (Bajkowe Niedzele) to International Piano Festivals for young composers and lovers of contemporary music. It is a vibrant centre which also plays host to the country's only professional Stage Programme for Children and Young People. Drop by on any Monday to enjoy a poet's gathering, a private view or exhibition opening in the cellars of the manor, or on a Thursday to listen to concerts performed by professionals and students of Krakow's excellent schools of music. Well worth a visit at any time of the year.
