Cracow Concerts

|
Visitors keen to sample a variety of musical strains from Poland's past could try some of the following. The charming little church of St. Adalbert's - the oldest in Cracow - hosts daily concerts by the Royal Chamber Orchestra. Meanwhile, for some folk flourish, a special evening is organised at the magical Habsburg-era cafe, Jama Michalika (ul. Florianska 45). Besides a traditional Polish dinner, guests will be served up a banquet of Polish dances by folk band Krakowianie, with polkas, mazurkas and many more. Finally, for a glimpse into the wondrous world of Klezmer, head down to Hotel Rubinstein in Kazimierz, where gifted local bands regularly perform this inspirational Jewish music.
