The historical institution of the Krakow Opera, dating back to the 17th century, has been revamped and in late 2008 moved into its brand new location on Lubicz Street, just a stone's throw from the central train station. Previously operating in the breathtaking Slowacki Theatre, the opera has finally received a home of its very own, and opera fans can expect more frequent performances in the new building. Be sure to check their website above, as well as our events calendar, for a schedule of performances. |
